Feedback From Aspiring And Current Virtual Assistants

“The ‘Five Key Steps’ eBook has been a great read and a motivational wonder. The eBook is easy to digest and understand while also giving a clear picture of the road ahead. It allowed me to really take a look at where I am now and where I would like to be when my VA business is up and running. It also gave me some great ideas about the services to offer and it gave me further motivation to learn some things that I’ve always been interested in but would rarely have a chance to use. The extra resources have also been a great combination of information and awareness, making me feel more educated and better prepared to hit the ground running. I am still pretty young (23) and I have ample experience in the corporate administrative field and with Lisa’s help I feel more confident and excited about venturing off on my own.

Of all the information that is available I must say that Lisa’s eBook is the best! Not to mention the audio interview that is included. It’s great to hear from veterans in the industry sharing their stories of how they made it; while giving you more hope to be able to continue on your journey. Thanks Lisa for the inspiration, the motivation and most of all the information. Lisa is definitely one of the major stepping stones to my success as a VA!"

"I found the Five Key Steps Toolkit to be thorough and easy to follow. I had done some of my own research into how to set up a Virtual Assistant business but I was still wondering how I was going to market it and get my small business off the ground. I took one look at the table of contents and knew that I had a ready-made plan. There are some tips in the ebook that you won't find on the internet because Lisa draws on alot of her own experiences.

I really liked the video tutorials. I found them a bit overwhelming at first as there are so many of them. But I went through and categorised them and found that there was some video or other which I think will help me with the stages I've got planned.

The combination of the 5 Key Steps manual, the checklists and workbooks, with all the videos, has given me the confidence to really go for it. Thank you for putting this Toolkit together, Lisa."

“I was so happy when I found your website, as I too had looked and looked for legitimate information on Working from Home and was getting very frustrated and just didn’t know where to start. Your website answered my numerous questions and your book was absolutely fabulous and got me excited and enthused to really go it alone. As you will see I have started my own business. I refer to your book every time I get stuck and find a solution. In particular the most used tool I have from you has been your Virtual PA Business Start-Up Checklist, it has really kept me on track. I have filed every email you have sent me, so much useful information.

Thanks very much Lisa for putting in all your hard work in helping me out and encouraging me to go for it."

“I’ve just finished reading 'The 5 Key Steps to Your Successful Virtual Assistant Business' and I must say I’m impressed.

In this day and age it’s hard to know whether the eBooks you purchase on the internet will be useful or not. I recently purchased an eBook on a similar subject matter and was very unhappy with the format of the book and some of the content.

With Lisa Taliga’s '5 Key Steps' eBook I found the format to be reader friendly, the content flowed naturally from chapter to chapter, it was personable – Lisa includes some of her own personal learnings as well as general learnings and overall the content was relevant to my situation.

Most of my copy has highlighting on most pages because there is so much important and helpful information in it. There were things I hadn’t thought about and now my ‘to-do’ list is nearly as long as the eBook itself! The 5 Key Steps eBook gives you enough information to get a successful VA business going, but it also expands your thinking as each VA will have a different skill set.

The content in this eBook is detailed so it helps you to know how to put things in place not just that you should. I would highly recommend this eBook to anyone seriously considering entering into the Virtual Assistant field. It's definitely worth the investment.

“Thank you so much for taking the time to put “5 Key Steps to Your Successful Virtual Assistant Business” together. I have spent the better part of this weekend reading reviewing and taking my own notes rather than copy. I was so fired up about going into the VA business. Now I’m still fired up, but it is tempered with the reality of someone who has been there – done that. I feel so much better prepared for what is ahead of me. There were so many good suggestions based on your experiences; it is almost like a road map that outlines the important steps to take and pitfalls to avoid. It has also helped me put some continuity to all the information I have been collecting over the months and will be instrumental in helping me prioritize as I move toward creation and maintenance of my own business. Your idea of self assessment was exactly what I needed to bolster my confidence and help me feel I was heading in the right direction. Your suggestions and hints about marketing were exactly what I needed in the area I need the most help.

I perceive a developing camaraderie in the area of Virtual Assisting which is refreshing. Rather than see each other as only competition, we are more apt to see each other as resources for support. Clearly you are one of the pioneers in this effort.

My only problem this evening is being so energized to move forward with my VA business, wanting to roll up my sleeves and get to work, and knowing I have to go to my regular job tomorrow. Now I truly feel I can make this happen and there are better days ahead. Again, thank you so much."

"Your e-book gave me the inspiration to turn a passing thought into a reality. If I'm honest, I hadn't really got a clue how to go about starting up my own Virtual Assistant Business and as much time as I spent looking at other peoples' websites, I was still none the wiser. Until I found your website with your free e-book 'The 7 Things You MUST Know Before Starting Your Successful Virtual Assistant Business'. It was reading this e-book that made me decide to buy your 'Five Key Steps' and I haven't looked back since.

Your e-book gave me the understanding and insite that I needed to realise that I am qualified and experienced enough to make a success of my business with a lot of hard work. Thanks to your book I have now managed to complete my Business Plan with a clearer understanding of what my business is going to offer, how much I am going to charge clients (in order to make a living !) and where I want my business to be in the future.

The free e-books that you sent along with your book were also a godsend. Even though I have never designed a webpage before, I have just completed mine and am extremely proud of myself. I've yet to get it posted on the web but this will be happening within the next week or so.

Without your e-book I really don't believe that I would be actively doing anything else put pondering the possibility, let alone be ready to launch my website and business.

Simply put, your e-book has been a godsend to me. Many, many thanks."

"I would definitely recommend this Ebook. It contains valuable information for those of you who like me have ever thought of putting your admin skills to an even better use. Lisa provides an extremely detailed outline for you to work from making sure your objectives are clear to self assessment on your skills and expectations. There are many points to take into account before you even begin to set up your own business and useful tips that will help avoid making the same mistakes as other VA's before us. Even though my new business is now starting to produce some results, I still find it useful to consult Lisa's Ebook every once in a while. This guide covers all aspects of a VA's business in much detail and many things we probably never even considered before."

“As I read Lisa’s ebook “The 5 Key Steps to Your Successful Virtual Assistant Business", I found hope that my dream is still possible. After all, isn’t the first step removing the negatives and believing that you can do it.

I always had a dream to spend winters in a warmer climate away from the cold, snow and sometimes ice that we experience in the state of Indiana. So, for the last several years, I have worked towards making that goal a reality.

In 2004, I took the plunge and purchased a home in Florida which made step one of my action plan a reality. Step two is to find a way to achieve the freedom to live and work wherever I choose? I currently work for a company in which worked remotely from home for the last two years. I found that I really liked the freedom that working from home afforded me. Life was good!!

But it was not meant to be. When it came time for contract negotiations, the client that our team supported chose another company for their IT support which put my job in jeopardy. I do know that it is a fact the only way I will achieve the flexibility that I need to reach my goal is to either find a company that will allow me to do so, or start my own Virtual Assistant business.

I highly recommend Lisa’s book to anyone that is tired of the rat race and wants the freedom that being your own boss allows.”

“The "5 Key Steps to Your Successful Virtual Assistant Business" is one of the best resources available as an overall guide to getting a VA business started. I sat down and soaked in the information with pen and highlighter in hand. It is clearly a good starting point for anyone who is interested in starting such a business. ”

Caryn F. Kelly, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

“I have to admit, I do think your e-book is a good value for the money. It was informative and gave me what I think are useful tips. Without it would have been more difficult to start my VA business on my own from scratch without any idea how to get started. I am hopeful I’ll avoid making common mistakes and wasted time after having finished the book. In short, after finishing it cover to cover, I have confidence I can start my own VA business within the next 2 or 3 months.”

“Thanks to you I only really recognized my niche yesterday after reading your ebook. I have always felt like I have so much to offer and was very confused as to what to offer in the lines of services. But its all clear to me now.

Thanks again, your ebook has helped me tremendously. I look forward to purchasing other ebooks from you."

“I am a working wife & mother and I have always had a dream to work from home. My children’s activities are of great importance to me and working full time in an office doesn’t leave much room to attend everything I would like to. I have researched many work at home opportunities and being a Virtual assistant has really piqued my interest.

After reading your book I feel I have a better direction on becoming a successful Virtual Assistant. The self assessment was a great tool to see if I had the confidence and motivation to be successful in this business. It also helped me to narrow down what services I would enjoy doing for clients.

One of my biggest concerns was on how to determine what I would charge for my services. The examples and calculations were a great help in determining what my charges will be. I thought the information regarding the easiest way to get paid was very informational. I would have never considered using Paypal but it might be a good option instead of waiting to get that check in the mail.

I am not a very creative person so I felt that marketing was my greatest liability. I still feel I need to do some more research to find out what the best way for me to market my business will be but the suggestions given have started me on a better path."

Kim LePine, Irma, WI, USA

“I would like to congratulate Lisa for being an inspiration to all up and coming Virtual Assistants. She has been the support network I have needed to get things moving and after reading her E-Book, I believe I am well equipped to venture out and take the right steps. Learning from someone else that has already achieved what you’re looking for to fulfill your own dreams is absolutely invaluable.

I have read through her step by step plan and I love the simple, non stressful approach to the “Business Plan” This has put me off on a number of occasions with various career paths in the past. Thinking I needed a degree in Marketing just to write one up. You do not.

Lisa encourages learning as you go - and the other very important lesson I have learned is not needing to be perfect straight away. My mind has been racing with all the things I needed to perfect before announcing I have started a business.

Being a perfectionist isn’t always being effective -

My advice - read Lisa’s E-book, roll up your sleeves and make a commitment to be your own boss and create your own riches.

You are not alone - Thanks Lisa for being so selfless and sharing your experiences."
